Yes. Turn on Use Regex and type a JavaScript regular expression. An invalid pattern is reported and the text is left unchanged.
Can I match case or whole words?
Yes. Match Case keeps capitals distinct, and Whole Word limits the match to a whole word. Both work with or without regex.
Is find and replace free?
