Frequently asked questions
Does my stock list leave the browser?
No. Products are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. Names, quantities, and notes are not uploaded to StationSoft.
What happens if I clear browser data?
The list is deleted. Clearing site data, cookies, or this site’s storage removes it. Download a CSV or JSON backup first. The note at the top of the tool says the same thing.
Which fields can I track?
Every product has a name, a unit, and a quantity. Units include pcs, kg, L, m, and box, or any unit you type. SKU, category, minimum stock, and note are optional. A row at or below its minimum is marked low.
Can I open the list in Excel?
Yes. Download CSV writes a UTF-8 file Excel can open. JSON backup keeps every field, including ids. Import can add those rows to the current list or replace it. There is no product limit.
